Andrew “Andy” K. Taylor, PT  Andy is a physical therapist who has been working with Firstat since May 2017. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of North Dakota in 2015. He has quality experience in a variety of settings including transitional care units, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, and also in the home health setting. He enjoys treating patients to increase their mobility, safety, and improve their overall quality of life. He is a certified lymphedema therapist, is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, and is CPR certified. Andy is also an avid sports fan, some would say an over-the-top Vikings fan! Jenifer “Jen” Baker, OTR, PTA  Jen is an occupational therapist as well as a physical therapist assistant who joined the Firstat team in May 2019. She has over 8 years of therapy experience working with diverse populations and settings within skilled nursing rehabilitation, acute care, home health, community outreach programs, mental health, and within the non-profit sectors and volunteer work. She is a member of the American Physical and Occupational Therapy Associations, and the MN home health association. She graduated with honors from Belmont University in Nashville, TN, where she lived for the past 13 years, and just recently moved here in order to be closer to family. She is an outdoor enthusiast and adventurer, avid runner, lover of coffee and quality family time.  “Whether you think you can or think you can’t, you’re right.” -Henry Ford

Laken Bell is a Licensed General Social Worker working as the PRN Medical Social Worker with Firstat Nursing Services. She graduated from Augsburg University with a Masters in Social Work and holds an undergraduate degree in Social Work from the University of Iowa. Laken is a full time Medical Social Worker with Aseracare Hospice and has experience working with people experiencing homelessness, mental health disabilities, people living with HIV, and the senior community. She is passionate about building trust and setting goals with her patients to reach their full potential. Outside of work Laken enjoys spending time with dogs and cycling. Fun fact about her name, it rhymes with bacon. One of her many favorite quotes are:
