Laura Koester, RN  Laura Koester is a registered nurse with her public health certification and Bachelor of Science degree in nursing July 2019 and is serving as our new clinical director of clinical services and will manage the day to day clinical operations and oversee clinical and non-clinical staff.  She is graduating with summa cum laude honors from the College of Saint Scholastica in Duluth, MN July 2019 and have over 9 years of experience working in the field in home health case management, insurance field and prior hospice experience.  She has skills of assessment, empathy, passion, advocacy, teamwork; compassionate cares and strives for excellent teamwork with staff to provide excellent communication and care for our clients and families.  Outside of work, she is a grandma to three adult children, 4 granddaughters and one new grandson. She loves spending time with family and traveling to see relatives and friends when not working. She loves the Cubs, Twins and Bears teams, and is a drag racing enthusiast, especially when watching her brothers or cousins’ race!   “And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same”  -Nelson Mandela .
