Firstat Nursing Services July Newsletter

Welcome July!

As many of you already know, we have had many changes this past month, meet our new office team if you haven’t already!

As our organization changes and grows to better serve our patients, we want to hear from you if there is any support you need to be more efficient or effective in the wonderful services you provide to all of our patients.  We are currently working on having IDT consistently every week in order to provide collaborative care to decrease hospital admissions, have a clear understanding of our patients needs, and know how we can implement better interventions to work together as a team! We also want to hear from you if there are continuing education topics that you would like to focus on or are interested in.

Now without further adieu, let me introduce and congratulate our EMPLOYEE of the MONTH...

June was a very busy month with many changes, me being one of them. I am so very happy to be with Firstat and have much to learn! This past month I have been seeing patients as an occupational therapist, making the rounds at many different networking meetings, and marketing through various health fairs and events promoting Firstat’s services. July 18th is the MARKETFEST festival in White Bear Lake, that night’s theme week is Public Safety/Health Fair. Stop by to see our booth, say HI, and maybe test your own balance! I will also be volunteering and serving on the Advocacy Committee for 2019-2020 with the Minnesota HomeCare Association.

New Hires: Sarah Hein PT, Gary Burns HHA, Hem Monger PCA Intake

FAQ: How to I access my pay stubs?

Answer: Everyone gets employee access to ADP via their email that they provided during the initial new hire process. You would have received an email prompting you to set up your employee access account. If you have not done this, you can also go to myaccess.adp.com and register as a first time user.

Reminder: We are in the process of transitioning to Axxess. Please be on the lookout for test patients that will be assigned to you. When attempting to complete those visits, please do not hesitate to reach out with questions. We will also be more than willing to sit down with you in the office to train you on the new system.

Reminder: Please make sure that you download the Axxess AgencyCore app. You will be required to use this app when completed your visits in Axxess. The app has electronic visit verification that you will be required to use, and you will be able to complete your entire visit on the app.  The use of the app will be part of your training in Axxess.

Thank you everyone for all that you do for the Firstat Family! Please never hesitate to reach out with questions or if you need to talk about anything.
